About Dennis Lynch
Dennis P. Lynch AAMS, CEBS, FLMI
DPL Retirement Advisors, LLC is the culmination of more than 25 years of experience in the pension and investment fields. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, Dennis started his pension career working on Defined Benefit pension plans for a major insurance company. After a few years as a Pension Investment wholesaler, Dennis spent several years as a Regional Pension Vice President for Provident Mutual Life. Dennis then formed his own Registered Investment Advisory firm, Oyster Capital Corp. in 1998. He was also the Vice President of Defined Contribution Plan Operations for CBIZ Retirement Services from 2000 to 2002. Dennis relocated to Dover, NH in September 2003, and joined a Manchester, NH advisory firm specializing in the development of ETF Collective Trust products for the defined contribution marketplace. After working with another Boston area advisory firm, Dennis formed DPL Retirement Advisors in April, 2011.
Dennis is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS), a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), and a Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI). He has held life and health insurance licenses, and has completed NASD exams Series 6, 63, & 65. Dennis is a member of the Human Resources Association of Greater Concord (HRA-GC). He has been a guest on the nationally syndicated radio show, MONEY MATTERS. He has also been a speaker at various Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) meetings on topics including “Understanding the True Costs of a 401(k) Plan”. The L.A. Times consulted with Dennis for an expose they prepared on excessive retirement plan fees. He has also been an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the College of Insurance in New York, where he taught pension planning and investment courses. Dennis has a Degree in Business Administration from City University of New York.
